Unsubscribe options.
Let people opt out in one click. Required by Gmail and Yahoo.
Every campaign must let people opt out. Anyone who unsubscribes is added to your blocklist and never emailed again.
The three options
One-click unsubscribe header (on by default). Gmail and Outlook show their own Unsubscribe button at the top of your email. Gmail and Yahoo require this for bulk senders. Turning this off can hurt inbox placement.
Unsubscribe text. A plain line at the end of every email. It feels personal, with no link. For example: “Not the right person? Just reply ‘stop’ and I won’t email again.”
Unsubscribe link. A link at the end of every email that opens a one-click unsubscribe page.
Replies that unsubscribe
When a reply says “unsubscribe”, “stop” or “remove me”, we unsubscribe the lead and stop the sequence automatically.
In a running campaign
You can change these options any time. Changes apply to the next emails.
